"VPG Laseruan" (formerly NTO "IRE-Polus") is a Russian company founded by the distinguished Soviet scientist Valentin Pavlovich Gaponcev, the founder of the international scientific and technical corporation IPG Photonics Corporation.
"VPG Laseruan" develops and serially manufactures high-efficiency fiber lasers and amplifiers, optical components, assemblies, modules, instruments, subsystems, and systems for:
- Industrial laser complexes for cutting, welding, cladding, alloying, heat treatment, marking, and cleaning.
- Scientific research.
- Fiber, atmospheric, and satellite optical communications, and cable television.
- Surgery and biomedicine.
- Optical ranging and remote monitoring of industrial facilities and the atmosphere.
- Control and measurement systems, and sensors.
To implement innovative laser technologies in production, "VPG Laseruan" has for many years actively collaborated with leading domestic engineering, metallurgical, railway, and automotive enterprises, supplying its customers with more than 600 types of ultra-high-tech laser equipment. Many of these instruments and systems have no analogs in the global high-tech market.
