Intellectual Robot Systems at a seminar on the robotization of aerospace manufacturing
December 3, 2025, Intellectual Robot Systems took part in a practical seminar dedicated to the application of industrial robotic systems in aircraft manufacturing, engine building, and space engineering. The event was held at the facilities of JSC “Digital Assembly” in Saint Petersburg.
The seminar was organized by JSC “Digital Assembly” jointly with LLC “Industrial Robotics” — the official representative of KUKA in Russia. The main objective of the event was to support enterprises in achieving technological benchmarks set out in the “Unified Plan for Achieving the National Development Goals of the Russian Federation up to 2030 and for the period up to 2036.”
Specialists from Intellectual Robot Systems presented equipment used in aerospace manufacturing processes. In particular, the following solutions were demonstrated:
- Solutions for thermal spraying, used for applying protective and functional coatings and supporting robotic automation;
- Orbital welding equipment, providing high-precision processing of pipe and cylindrical structures widely used in aerospace manufacturing;
Company representatives gave a detailed overview of the possibilities for integrating these systems into modern production environments and shared successful implementation cases, highlighting their efficiency, stability, and compliance with industry requirements.
As part of the seminar, robotic solutions for machining, industrial 3D printing, laser scanning, automated machine and press tending, as well as logistics were presented. Participants reviewed practical examples of technology implementation for cutting, welding, coating application, and the organization of automated production processes.
