Robotic plasma-arc cutting and finishing of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloy products
The robotic technological complex (RTC) is designed for:
- Plasma cutting of covers;
- Plasma cutting of shells;
- Robotic trimming of shells;
- Plasma cutting of thick-walled stainless steel;
- Plasma cutting of thick-walled aluminum;
- Finishing of products made from carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloys.
The welding process is carried out automatically, without human presence in the processing area.
Complex Features
The plasma-arc cutting and finishing RTC, thanks to the coordinated work of iRS software and the opto-mechanical tracking system for deviations in shape and dimensions of workpieces, ensures perfect 3D positioning of the plasma torch and finishing tool relative to the surface of the part, regardless of its complexity, with an accuracy of 0.1 mm.
The robot for edge finishing before welding performs the process using three types of tools: abrasive, milling, and flap types.
