Robotic Laser Hardening Complex
The Robotic Laser Hardening Complex (RLHC) is designed for surface heat treatment (hardening) of crankshaft journals using a high-power fiber laser.
The RLHC is part of a conveyor production line for crankshaft manufacturing, enabling full-cycle processing. It is fully integrated into the production line and operates automatically without operator intervention.
The complex consists of a fully enclosed chamber with an industrial robot manipulator that has increased payload and precision, equipped with an optical laser head and a table with fixtures for positioning the crankshaft during hardening.
Above the chamber runs a conveyor line with an automatic loader and grippers. Inside the chamber, automatic sliding gates allow loading and unloading of crankshafts via the loader. The crankshaft is automatically positioned and clamped in the fixtures for hardening all journals. The RLHC can process different types of crankshafts.
