Robotic Gas Shielded Welding
Basic Layout of a Robotic Arc Welding System

The principle of iRS is the development of customized technical solutions and the manufacturing of robotic technological complexes according to the Client's requirements. We have already produced and integrated over 50 complexes for welding, cutting, coating, shot blasting, and more.
The basic universal solution for gas-shielded robotic welding looks like this:
The system components are fully synchronized – the robot, positioners, and welding power source all
operate together via the programmed interface on a common control panel. This allows employing personnel
with minimal qualifications, even without prior welding experience.
The composition of a robotic arc welding complex can vary depending on customer requirements and may additionally include:
- Robot mounting systems: linear guides, columns, gantries, etc.;
- Observation and vision systems;
- Welding manipulators, rotators, roller supports, etc.;
- Tool changing systems;
- Technological fixtures;
- Other components necessary to perform technological functions.
Depending on the complex configuration and its complexity, the cost may also vary. For example:During project development, the technical department performs a welding process simulation. This allows determining:
- Process feasibility and efficiency;
- Ability to perform welding by checking robot reach and spatial orientation of the workpiece;
- Process labor intensity;
- Convenient and compact placement of system components.
