How Does Pulsed Laser Radiation Remove Contaminants?
Laser cleaning is a technological process in which laser radiation affects the contamination layer, removing it completely or with minimal impact on the underlying material.
The contaminant is removed from the surface through local vaporization of the substrate’s surface layer. During vaporization, high-temperature vapor pressure destroys the non-metallic contamination layer, removing it from the metal surface. LightCLEAN integrates a unique high-power pulsed laser, providing maximum efficiency in removing various surface contaminants. A built-in library of pre-designed cleaning modes allows you to start work quickly without manually adjusting parameters.
