How does pulsed laser radiation remove contaminants?
Pulsed laser cleaning is a technological process in which laser radiation acts on a contamination layer, removing it completely or with minimal effect on the base material surface.
Contaminants are removed due to local evaporation of the surface layer. During evaporation, the non-metallic contamination layer is destroyed and removed from the metal surface by the pressure of high-temperature vapors. LightCLEAN integrates a unique high-power pulsed laser, allowing highly efficient removal of various surface contaminants. The built-in library of specially developed cleaning modes allows quick start without manually adjusting the parameters.
