Dynamic Wobble — unique functionality of LiteWELD XR Pro
The standard (linear) wobble — the beam lingers at the edges during direction changes. As a result, with the desired weld width and oscillation frequency, the edges may melt more while the center may remain under-penetrated, giving the weld a “tooth-like” appearance.
The dynamic wobble — beam oscillations vary in frequency and amplitude, resulting in a more stable penetration and better filler wire melting.
Dynamic Wobble — Advantages
- Improved weld strength: more even penetration profile and increased depth
- Reduced porosity
- Ability to increase wire feed speed (i.e., increase welding speed)
- Enhanced lap joint strength
Laser Cleaning Function
The cleaning function prepares weld edges before welding, reducing porosity caused by surface contamination. It also removes soot and heat-tint colors from the weld seam. Both welding and cleaning are performed on the same equipment without long reconfiguration, thanks to pre-set modes, improving appearance and reducing post-processing costs.
Laser Cutting Function
Using LiteWELD instead of a traditional angle grinder offers several advantages. The availability and ease of mode switching save time and reduce equipment damage caused by debris on the fiber. This makes the cutting process more efficient and reliable, eliminating risks of device failure due to fiber contamination when changing the gun.
