Dynamic Wobble — Unique Functionality of LiteWELD XC PLUS

Standard (linear) wobble — the beam lingers at the edges during direction changes. As a result, with a set desired weld width and oscillation frequency, the metal at the edges may penetrate more, while the center may experience incomplete penetration, giving the weld a “tooth-like” appearance.

Dynamic wobble — beam oscillations vary in frequency and amplitude (see below). Resulting in more stable penetration and better melting of the filler wire.

Dynamic Wobble — Advantages

• Increased weld strength: more uniform penetration profile and deeper weld penetration
• Reduced porosity





• Ability to increase wire feed speed (i.e., faster welding)
• Improved strength of lap joints

Laser Cleaning Function

The cleaning function prepares weld edges before welding, reducing porosity caused by surface contamination. It also removes soot and discoloration from the weld. Both welding and cleaning are performed on the same equipment without lengthy reconfiguration, using preset modes. This improves product appearance and reduces post-processing costs.

Laser Cutting Function

Using LiteWELD instead of a traditional angle grinder for metal cutting provides several benefits. Simple mode switching saves time and reduces the risk of equipment damage caused by debris hitting the fiber. This makes cutting more efficient and reliable, avoiding potential damage from nozzle changes.

Wire Feeding Mechanism

Fully compatible with VPG LiteWeld 2000. Wire feeding is automatic and controlled by the laser welding machine. Two- or four-stroke wire feeding modes. Feed speed range: 0–800 cm/min. Supports wire diameters of 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, and 1.6 mm.

Wire Feeding Bracket

Compatible with the feeding mechanism and its channel; can also be used with various filler wire tips. Compact and ergonomic, enabling welding in hard-to-reach areas.

Accessory Kit for Connections

Complete set of wires, fittings, and accessories for connecting the laser welding machine and wire feeder. Includes rollers for different wire diameters and replacement welding tips.
